‘I would fancy’: Ian Wright shares who he thinks will win this weekend – Liverpool or Man City

Liverpool face Manchester City this weekend in what could well be a Premier League title decider.

These two sides are going blow for blow in the title race, and a win this weekend could well be the difference come the end of the season.

Wright is rather torn on how he wants this game to pan out from an Arsenal perspective, claiming that he’d ideally like both teams to lose.

However, speaking on the Kelly and Wrighty Show, Wright has given his prediction on how this game will pan out, and he says that, because it’s at Anfield, he fancies Liverpool to win this one.

Ian Wright backs Liverpool

The pundit shared how he thinks this game will go.

“I’ve just had a crazy thought. Can both of them lose? That came into my head. Can both lose for Arsenal please? But no, you look at it from Liverpool’s point of view, is it at the Etihad? It’s at Anfield! Liverpool at this stage, I would fancy Liverpool, I would do,” Wright said.

So tough

This one is so difficult to call.

Liverpool have been almost unbeatable at Anfield for such a long time, but, at the same time, there is a bit of an injury crisis happening at Liverpool right now, and Manchester City are the best team in the world.

If ever there was a time that Liverpool were vulnerable on their own patch, this is it, but, at the same time, you’d have to be very silly to back against the Reds at Anfield, especially in the middle of a title race during Jurgen Klopp’s final season.

Whether or not Liverpool do win this one remains to be seen, but one thing is for sure, this should be a fantastic game between two top sides.
