Liverpool have six games to go to decide their fate this season.

Will Jurgen Klopp go out in a blaze of glory by winning the Premier League title for the second time? Or will he go out with a whimper as the Reds’ poor form continues?

The next six matches will ultimately be crucial in deciding Klopp’s Liverpool legacy, and the Reds need to improve if they are to send their manager off with a winners’ medal.

Speaking on the Official Liverpool Podcast, Ray Houghton has been discussing Liverpool’s run-in, and he’s tipped one player to have a big impact in the coming weeks.

Ray Houghton tips Liverpool star to make big impact

Houghton said that he has a funny feeling that Mohamed Salah will have a big part to play in the coming weeks despite his underwhelming form as of late.

“I’ve got a funny feeling that he’s going to have a huge part to play over the next six games. If you want the ball to fall to one player you’d put your money on Mo Salah more often than not. He might not be at his best over the last few matches, trying to get up to speed fitness wise, but he’s done it time and time again, and there’s no reason why he can’t do it again,” Houghton said.

Mohamed Salah is a difference-maker

Salah hasn’t been brilliant as of late for Liverpool, but anyone who has followed the Reds over the past few years knows that you have to be a fool to ever write the Egyptian off.

The winger has the ability to just pop up with a key goal from out of nowhere at any moment in time, and those types of moments are exactly what can decide these tight title races.

Don’t be shocked if the £34m man pops up with more key goals in the coming weeks.
