‘I’ve gone for’: Peter Crouch has predicted who’s going to win this weekend – Liverpool or Man City

Liverpool and Manchester City face off this weekend in what may well be the biggest game of the season so far.

Not only is this a title decider, this is the end of an era in the Premier League as Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola face off for the final time.

Klopp and Guardiola will face off in fitting fashion with both teams sitting at first and second in the Premier League with the winner of this one likely going into the final 10 games of the season as favourites to win the title.

Speaking on his podcast, Peter Crouch has been discussing this game, and he’s had a go at predicting how this one will turn out.

The pundit shared how he thinks this game will go.

“I’ve gone for Liverpool. I think the Anfield factor is a big factor in this game in particular. I’m going 2-1,” Crouch said.

Not much in it

It’s really hard to call this game.

There’s not much between these two teams, but as Crouch says, the Anfield factor will play a big part here.

Liverpool, ever since Jurgen Klopp arrived, have been almost unbeatable at Anfield in front of fans, and City have always struggled to come away from Merseyside with anything.

Factor in the added incentive of this being Klopp’s final season and you best believe that Liverpool will leave everything out on the pitch to make sure they come away from this one with a win.

That said, City will be more than happy to go and spoil Klopp’s farewell party, and it’s hard to ever back against a team that will have Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne in their starting XI.

Liverpool may just be slight favourites here, but this is a very tough one to call.
