Liverpool legend Didi Hamann has now been predicting who will win the Premier League this season, his old side, Manchester City or Arsenal.
It does now feel as if there’s been something of a lull in the Premier League title-race of late, with winter breaks and cup competitions disrupting the rhythm of games.

And with that in mind, Didi Hamann has now made a bold call on who he thinks will win the league.
Arsenal’s aspirations clearly took a knock with their recent defeats, even if Mikel Arteta’s side recovered well against Crystal Palace.
And as is often the case with Pep Guardiola’s City team at this time of the year, they seem like they’re patiently waiting to take over.
However, when speaking on talkSPORT today, Hamann thought Arsenal weren’t actually in the same conversation as Liverpool and Man City.
The pundit declared this season as a two-horse race, saying he slightly fancied Liverpool to pip City to the title.
Didi Hamann thinks Liverpool will pip Man City and Arsenal to Premier League title
Speaking with clarity, Hamann said: “I think it’s a two-horse race, I can’t see Arsenal really getting back into it.
“They had a chance last season, I think it’ll be a two-horse race but I do fancy Liverpool this time around.”

However, when fans take a step back and consider just how formidable Liverpool look this season, they may change their mind.
Perhaps the biggest difference for Klopp’s team this season is their transformed partnership of Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate.
Arguably now the best pairing in the Premier League, both players have made massive improvements on last campaign.
Scoring goals has never been an issue for Liverpool, and they do now look a tough nut to crack.
Perhaps Arsenal fans will quite enjoy Hamann’s prediction, they may not mind quietly plodding behind Liverpool and Man City.
Arteta’s young side eventually buckled under last year’s pressure, and they may fancy a role as underdogs this time round.
However, title race aside, Gary Neville has recently raised some criticism regarding Arsenal and Liverpool.
