Liverpool are looking to get to work quickly under new manager Arne Slot and there could be more of his team following than first thought.
Slot has now been officially announced as the new Reds manager and is looking forward to getting stuck into pre-season.
Of course, it’s not just Slot who is coming over to Anfield as part of the new coaching set up.

However, it doesn’t look like the rebuild is quite done there and one journalist who specialises in all things Liverpool has suggested another coach could be on his way.

Speaking on the Anfield Index YouTube channel, Liverpool journalist David Lynch has said another goalkeeping coach could be on his way.
“It’s been put to me, I spoke to people this week who said they’re definitely on the hunt for another goalkeeper coach, that’s definitely the ideal situation,” Lynch said.
“I’d be interested to see who that is, I don’t think it’s going go back to being a three-man goalkeeping department. I think it’ll be Taffarel and one more. It’ll be interesting to see who it is.
“I believe there’s some potential interest around Jyri Nieminen at Feyenoord. He has a lot of qualities from people you speak to that would really make him a good fit to come to a club like Liverpool and he’s been a good fit with Slot before in terms of the type of football they want the goalkeeper to play.
“So, that’s one to keep and eye on.”
Who is Jyri Nieminen?

Nieminen actually took up his first role as a coach all the way back in 2012, when he took the job with Finnish side, TPS.
From there, Nieminen has had some adventure in terms of being a coach that has taken him around the world and back.
Spells in Estonia, and then Qatar with youth teams have been followed by a number of years over the MLS in America. Nieminen spent time with a few clubs, with the most recent MLS club on his CV being the New York Redbulls.
Feyenoord moved to bring Nieminen over in 2023 and now, with Slot moving to Anfield, he could be in line for his biggest role yet.
