Alexis Mac Allister showed the Liverpool fans what he’s all about on Sunday with an incredible goal against Fulham.
The Argentine has had a topsy-turvy start to life at Anfield, but everything seemed to click on Sunday as the midfielder scored a 35-yard screamer and put in a fantastic performance against the Whites.
Mac Allister shocked everyone with his incredible goal, and speaking on the Kelly and Wrighty Show, Harvey Elliott shared that his teammate’s goal even left him shocked.
Elliott says that he spoke to Mac Allister about his goal in training on Monday, and he told him that he has that sort of goal in him once a year.

Elliott shared what Mac Allister told him about his goal.
“You know what I spoke to him today Macca and I said ‘where did that come from?’ And he said that he normally pulls it out once a year. He saved it until December, so hopefully we get to see it again in January next year,” Elliott said.
More of the same Mac Allister
Of course, no player is going to score a 35-yard banger every single week, but we wouldn’t mind seeing more of the same from Mac Allister going forwards.
We’re not saying he has to score goals like that every game, but we’d like to see him play with the confidence to take those kinds of shots on more often.
Dominik Szoboszlai has taken all the headlines this season with his long-range attempts in almost every game, but Mac Allister can also strike a ball, and if he had a bit more confidence, he’d get a few more shots off from range and perhaps score a few more goals.
Hopefully this goal will help Mac Allister settle at Liverpool and he’ll continue to improve from here.
