Liverpool are on the lookout for a new manager.
The Reds need to find a new gaffer this summer, and after it was reported that Xabi Alonso won’t be taking the job, many are wondering where Liverpool will go next.
Speaking on TalkSPORT, Jason Cundy has been fielding calls from a number of Liverpool fans who had their own theories on who should be the next manager, and one fan made a rather left-field suggestion.

Cundy spoke to a Liverpool fan who suggested that the Reds should hire Rob Edwards from Luton.
“I’m going to throw a spanner in the works and say Rob Edwards from Luton. Luton play with no fear,” One fan said.
“Hmm, I’m not convinced. He’s doing a fab job, but I’m not convinced. I think the squad that is built, I’m not convinced that is the smoothest handover,” Cundy said.
Rob Edwards wouldn’t be right for Liverpool
This is a rather ridiculous suggestion.
Nobody is saying that Edwards hasn’t done a good job at Luton this season, but that step up to Liverpool is incredible.
The reality is that there’s still a huge chance that Luton are relegated this season, and you surely can’t be in line for one of the biggest jobs in football if you take a team down from the Premier League.
Edwards may well climb the managerial ladder in the coming years, but we really can’t see the 41-year-old making such a jump at this moment in time.
Liverpool need their next manager to be someone who has operated at the highest level and is a proven winner, and, in all honesty, Edwards isn’t that man.
We really can’t see the Reds going down this route once Jurgen Klopp leaves the club this summer.
