Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was full of praise for young Conor Bradley after watching him against Royale Union Saint-Gilloise in the Europa League last night.
The Reds suffered their second defeat in Europe this season, but the result meant absolutely nothing as Liverpool had already won the group. Several young players got a chance to impress, and Bradley seems to have caught Klopp’s eye.

Conor Bradley has been at Liverpool since September 2019. He joined the Reds from Northern Irish side Dungannon United.
The talented youngster has always impressed at youth level, and he has now played seven times for Jurgen Klopp‘s side in all competitions.
Bradley was given a start against Saint-Gilloise last night, and even though he didn’t have his greatest game, Klopp seems to be a big fan of the 20-year-old.
The German raved about what a ‘fighter’ Bradley is and backed him to become a regular at right-back for Liverpool very soon.
When asked if Bradley can be a solution at right-back, Klopp replied, as per Liverpool’s official website: “He will be, he will be. Conor is a top player, I like him a lot.
“His attitude is outstanding, he’s a real fighter. And how everybody in the first half was, we were struggling, we were struggling, we lost balls in the wrong moments and it’s really difficult. I would never judge a player after a game like this and tell, ‘OK, he’s obviously not good enough’ or whatever.
“I know how good they are because I see them every day in training and tonight is an important experience. I don’t think any career ever started without these kind of games where you have to struggle, where you have to fight through, where you have to survive – and Conor, especially, did.
“We found a way into the game, had good moments, really good moments and other moments where he knows he can improve and he has to learn. He’s still young. But that’s part of development.”

It’s never easy for a young player to make a mark in a meaningless game where many players clearly lack the motivation to be at their best.
Liverpool weren’t great at all last night, but this is an experience that could really help players like young Conor Bradley in their development.
The 20-year-old, who signed a new contract recently. will have to deal with many more difficult situations in the coming years, and Jurgen Klopp’s words suggest he has what it takes to do just that.
We think Bradley has a bright future in the game, and we won’t be surprised to see him get a few more appearances under his belt this season.
