332 Liverpool are looking to bolster their midfield ranks over the next few windows, with everyone well aware Jude Bellingham is their main target.
Bellingham is one of Europe’s most in demand players after a brilliant World Cup with England enhanced his reputation even further. Liverpool, along with Real Madrid, are thought to be the two main players in terms of doing a deal.
For the Reds, landing a player like Bellingham is urgent. Their midfield has been heavily criticised this season and as well as Bellingham, a host of other names have been mentioned. Sofyan Amrabat is thought to be well liked inside Anfield. Meanwhile, Enzo Fernandez is another Liverpool like, albeit he is most likely to join Chelsea now.

However, when it comes to having the funds to land Bellingham and more, journalist Christian Falk has claimed there’ll be no issue when it comes to funds from FSG. The German transfer expert has told CaughtOffside that the Reds could spend north of £200m if they need to.
“I heard the club has about £200-250m that they want to spend in the summer, so there’s a good chance they get Bellingham,” Falk said for CaughtOffside.

Liverpool have the attacking players in the door to succeed. Once they’re all fit, there is no doubting the Reds have one of the best front sixes around.
However, in midfield is where they’re falling so short. Bellingham is the main target and improves things. But there is an argument that the Reds need even more.
News from Falk here, then, of £250m being available will please Liverpool fans. Bellingham is expected to end up costing north of £130m, meaning there’s a nice chunk left to strengthen further. Certainly, if this is right, then FSG aren’t pulling the plug on backing Jurgen Klopp just yet.
