‘I have a feeling’: Danny Murphy has now made a prediction about Man City vs Liverpool

Liverpool head to the Etihad this weekend in what will be a massive test of their title credentials against Manchester City.

The Reds have been fantastic so far this season, and if they can get a result against City, maybe, just maybe, we can start thinking about Liverpool winning the title.

Of course, the Merseyside club come into this one as underdogs against the treble-winning Champions of Europe, but Danny Murphy fancies his former club to get something here.

Speaking on Five, Murphy has stated that he’s had a good record of predicting games as of late, and he has a feeling that Liverpool won’t lose against City this weekend.

Liverpool won’t lose

Murphy gave his verdict on how this game will pan out.

“Do you know what, the last couple of weeks I’ve had a feeling about games. I had a feeling at Chelsea and Tottenham, and then I had a chat last week before the Chelsea vs City game and I said Chelsea won’t lose that game, and I have a feeling that Liverpool won’t lose this one, I don’t know if they can win it, but with the way Liverpool are at the minute and the legs in midfield, they can cause City problems,” Murphy said.

Tough to call

As always, it’s very tough to call how this game will pan out.

These two are among the very best teams in the world at the moment, and it may take a moment of genius or a mistake to decide this game.

What we will say is this though, Murphy has been a brave man to claim that City won’t win at the Etihad. Pep Guardiola’s side are winning machines at home, and it’s hard to head to that stadium and ever expect anything other than a City win.

It remains to be seen how this one will end up, but it should be a cracking game between two of the best in the league.
