It wasn’t the best day for Liverpool superstar Mo Salah at Nottingham Forest today, as he was snuffed out by the resilient home side.
Salah would have been hoping to continue his and Liverpool’s good run of form by getting on the scoresheet against one of the league’s most open defences. However, it wasn’t to be for Salah, who cut a frustrated figure for much of the game and had little in the way of big chances to score.

“He’s not moving though. And I’m shocked to why he’s not coming out wide. Most players of his type are like ‘I’ve had enough of this, give me the ball’ and they try and make it happen themselves,” Jenas said on BT Comms.
Salah had got himself back into form by scoring a quick-fire hat-trick at Rangers and then scoring the winner against Manchester City last weekend. However, he looks a shadow of the player he has been and today was another example of that dip in overall form.
TBR’s View: Salah Has To Do More For Liverpool
Liverpool put their full faith in Mo Salah in handing him a mega new contract and you have to say since then, he has disappointed.
Salah is a world-class player, we all know he is. But he just isn’t looked at the levels he has shown since signing from Chelsea for £34m and there has to be something he can do to get out of the rut.
Of course, as the season goes on he’ll no doubt contribute a lot. But for now, Salah needs to do more and Liverpool won’t get anywhere if he is out of form.
