Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp gave his verdict on Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur ahead of the match against Newcastle United on Monday evening.
Klopp suggested that both Arsenal and Tottenham are very much in the race for the Premier League title this season.
So, what has Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp said about Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur? Let’s take a look.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp comments on Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur
Well, Liverpool took on Newcastle United at Anfield in the Premier League on Monday evening.
The Reds headed into the match at the top of the league table, and the Anfield faithful will be pretty pleased with how things are going for the club.
Arsenal are fourth in the Premier League table now and are a point ahead of North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur, who are fifth.
The Gunners have lost their last two Premier League games, while Spurs have won four of their last five league fixtures.
Manchester City, who won the Premier League, the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup last season, have won three of their last four league games. Star midfielder Kevin De Bruyne is now available for manager Pep Guardiola.

Klopp said on Sky Sports Premier League in the build-up to Liverpool’s match against Newcastle: “The last week or even a few hours ago, Arsenal were running away, but now I am pretty sure when you speak today about it, then you will say that’s it for them.
“Tottenham were out, now they are back in. Kevin De Bruyne is warming up, the whole country is starting to shake.
“I understand all that, but nothing has happened. It has nothing to do with us. We just want to be as good as possible, and I don’t know how good that will be, to be honest.”
My View: Arsenal and Tottenham are title challengers
In my view, we have to include Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur in the conversation for the Premier League title race this season.
Yes, Arsenal are not having the best of times at the moment, but let us not forget that the Gunners pushed Manchester City hard last season.
Spurs’ main objective this season is to end up in the top four, but they are only six points behind leaders Liverpool.
