Kylian Mbappe’s future is one of the biggest talking points in football right now.
The French attacker is out of contract this summer, and there’s been plenty of chat about where he will go next.
Mbappe has, of course, been strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid, but there have been some reports in recent times suggesting that he had indeed been offered to both Liverpool and Arsenal.
However, according to Fabrizio Romano, writing on The Daily Briefing, there isn’t much truth in these stories, claiming that he hasn’t heard anything about Mbappe being offered to the Reds or the Gunners.

The journalist shared his information on this situation.
“Reports in the English media suggested that Kylian Mbappé’s entourage offered the player to Liverpool last year but the Reds weren’t prepared to break their wage structure. A desire to emulate Thierry Henry apparently also saw the Frenchman being offered to Arsenal and they turned him down for the same reasons,” Romano wrote.
“I have to say guys that I haven’t heard this honestly. There’s no update on Mbappé so far, I’ve really nothing new to share.
“As I always say: the Mbappé story will only be clear when he decides, and he will firstly inform PSG and their president Al Khelaifi.
“At that point we will be able to understand what’s next for Kylian. Sources are denying all other stories.”
Not likely
We have to say that these stories did seem to be wide of the mark from day one.
Let’s be real, if you were offered the chance to sign Mbappe? Would you really turn it down?
Yes, wage structures exist and so does FFP, but let’s be honest, Arsenal and Liverpool would surely do all they could to get this deal done if there was even a whiff of it being viable.
Sadly, we just can’t see Mbappe coming to the Premier League.
