Liverpool are currently looking for a new manager to take the reins after Jurgen Klopp vacates the Anfield dugout.
The Reds boss stunned the football world earlier this year when he announced his intention to step down from the role.
Liverpool were heavily linked with Xabi Alonso following Klopp’s announcement, but the Spaniard has since revealed he intends to stay with Bayer Leverkusen.
With that in mind, the Reds have focused their efforts elsewhere, with Ruben Amorim said to be a leading candidate for the job.
Amorim isn’t the only manager Liverpool have been linked with, however. Other names have been doing the rounds.

The Guardian reported in March that Amorim, De Zerbi and Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann are all on the Liverpool shortlist.
Of those, De Zerbi is the manager most Premier League fans will be familiar with, thanks to his good efforts with the south coast club.
What has Jamie Carragher said about Liverpool manager target Roberto De Zerbi?
Jamie Carragher has now given his verdict on De Zerbi amid links with a move to Liverpool.
“He’s done a brilliant job at Brighton,” Carragher said on Sky Sports.
“He has moved them up a level since Graham Potter was there, who obviously initially built the success or certainly how they played the football he played, but I think De Zerbi has taken it on.
“He’s had a lot of clubs, I think the fact that he wouldn’t be coming with sort of a a huge CV in terms of trophies may be something to look at.
“I know it’s difficult to win trophies at Brighton and I get that, but certainly his football would pass the eye test.
“The fact he’s got Premier League experience as well would certainly go in his favour, but no, I think it’ll be more Amorim than De Zerbi.”

De Zerbi is by no means a bad shout for Liverpool, but the fact he hasn’t won any major trophies in England or in any other of the big leagues may be a sticking point.
The pressure at Liverpool is immensely high, with multiple trophies being the goals each season. A manager with no significant experience of this could find himself out of his depth somewhat.
