Liverpool and Barcelona are both on the hunt for a new manager, and a number of names have been linked with the two jobs already.
Jurgen Klopp announced he would be leaving Liverpool last month and Xavi Hernandez said the same about his position at Barcelona just a day later. Both clubs need a top-quality replacement now.

Jurgen Klopp will leave a massive void at Liverpool when he walks away. He is one of the best managers we’ve seen in this country and replacing him will not be easy.
Xabi Alonso is the name on almost every Reds fan’s mind as they look for a new manager, but there are others on FSG’s shortlist too.
Reports revealed at the end of last month that Liverpool have four names on their list – Alonso, Roberto De Zerbi, Julien Nagelsmann and Hansi Flick.
The latter has been out of a job since losing his position as Germany boss last year. He is eager to get back into management, and one would imagine becoming Klopp’s successor at Liverpool would’ve appealed to him.
However, Fabrizio Romano has revealed today that Flick would actually ‘love’ to become the next manager of Barcelona, replacing Xavi when he leaves in the summer.
The journalist said in his Daily Briefing: “There have been reports that the former Bayern Munich and Germany manager (Flick) is Joan Laporta’s preferred candidate to replace Xavi.
“I don’t have confirmations on this. It’s very early stages at Barça, they will take some time before deciding their favourite candidates, starting interviews and more.
“Flick would love to work for Barcelona, that’s for sure; but there is nothing more than this so far, no decisions, nothing advanced.”

Liverpool will not find anyone like Jurgen Klopp, but it would be a good idea to look for someone with certain similarities to the German.
Hansi Flick is a terrific manager. He is one of only two managers in Bayern Munich‘s history to win a treble, and there’s no reason why he can’t succeed at another club.
However, we think it would be extremely difficult for Flick to command the same kind of respect that Klopp did at Liverpool, let alone emulate everything he did.
Liverpool should be looking for someone who will raise the excitement levels at Anfield – not just with their style of play but also because of who they are.
As good as Flick is, we don’t think he’s the right fit for Liverpool, but the Barcelona job is a much better fit for the German.
