Mohamed Salah is undoubtedly one of the Premier League’s all-time greats.
The Egyptian has just scored his 150th goal in the competition, and if he sticks around, he could well become the fourth player in history to join the 200 club.
The winger is undoubtedly a world-class talent these days, but he wasn’t always considered in this way.
Indeed, while it’s a long time ago now, once upon a time, Salah was known as a Chelsea flop rather than a Liverpool star.
Speaking on Premier League Productions, Leroy Rosenior has been discussing Salah’s career after netting his 150th Premier League goal, and he says that he’s proven a lot of people wrong since signing for the Reds.

Rosenior shared his verdict on the attacker.
“He didn’t have a good time at Chelsea, when he first went there people thought what’s going on here, he was underestimated in so many ways, but he proved them wrong and people have been wondering when he’s going to move on, but he’s stayed there, and he’s achieved legendary status now, no matter what happens he’s an absolute legend,” Rosenior said.
Incredible
It really is incredible how the perception around Salah has changed.
In fact, it’s hard to really compute that this is the same player we saw at Chelsea all those years ago.
Back at Chelsea, Salah was seen as a bit of a pace merchant with no end product, but now, he’s perhaps the most prolific attacker in the history of the Premier League and a multi-time Golden Boot winner.
Salah has proven every single one of his doubters wrong, and his journey from undesirable at Chelsea to undeniable at Liverpool just goes to show what can be done in this game if you work hard enough and give your all.
