Liverpool actually went into the half-time break having been pinned back for once today as Burnley scored to make it 1-1 at Anfield today.
A stunning header from Dara O’Shea shocked a sold out Anfield crowd, who had been hoping to build on Diogo Jota’s opening goal around the half hour mark.
Instead, it was the Clarets who went into the half-time break in better spirits as Jurgen Klopp then made changes at the break.

Playing slightly more advanced, £55m summer signing Alexis Mac Allister struggled to influence the game and at half-time, Liverpool journalist David Lynch shared a worrying stat about just how little impact Mac Alister had one the game.
One of those halves
It’s hard to really lay into Mac Allister really as in the main, he has been excellent since signing.
Yes, in the opening 45 against Burnley today he had little to no impact on the game but there’s going to be problems like that for most midfield players in any given game.
For Mac Allister, he’s being asked by Jurgen Klopp to cover different roles in the middle of the park and at times, that can have an impact.
This stat will be a bit of a worry from an attacking perspective for Liverpool but overall, the Reds fanbase will have few complaints about Mac Allister in general.
