Virgil van Dijk has been speaking to Gary Neville and admitted Jurgen Klopp can indeed get heated in the Liverpool dressing room.
Klopp is known for being one of the more charismatic managers in the English game. Recently, he has been in the headlines after losing his temper in the odd press conference as his Liverpool side struggle for consistency. Of course, there is a calmer, more likeable side to Klopp as well that we’ve seen down the years.

“He shouts a lot. The thing I like is that when someone does that it’s because they really care about you or the situation and want to make sure it improves or get anyone else sharper. I really enjoy that in a certain way and it helps me personally,” Van Dijk told Neville.
Klopp has had a few run ins over the years in the Premier League. He had a memorable spat with Frank Lampard just after football resumed from Covid, and he has had his run-ins with Pep Guardiola too.
TBR’s View: Klopp Admission From Van Dijk No Surprise
Jurgen Klopp is a brilliant football manager and it’s obvious his players love him. It’s what’s brought success to the Reds and there can be no questioning his qualities.
However, this admission from Van Dijk isn’t a surprise really. Klopp clearly wears his heart on his sleeve and his passion is what makes him such a success.
At the end of the day, all managers will lose their rag with the players every so often and Klopp, like anyone else, simply wants the best for his team.
