Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk has suggested that Luis Diaz will be fit to take part in the game against Burnley today.
The Reds will want to return to winning ways after back-to-back draws in the Premier League. They will go into the game as favourites against Burnley, and Diaz could play a part.

Luis Diaz started for Liverpool on the left wing in the draw against Arsenal last weekend.
The Colombian, branded as an ‘exceptional‘ player by Jurgen Klopp, didn’t have the greatest of games, and that led to criticism from Jamie Carragher, who said he ‘looks a shadow of himself‘ now.
To make things worse, Diaz went down after picking up a knock, and Klopp was forced to bring him off in the second half.
There has been a lot of concern about Diaz’s injury since that game, but Virgil van Dijk has now suggested that the 26-year-old attacker ‘should be fine’.
Speaking ahead of the game against Burnley, Van Dijk said, as per Liverpool Echo: “Lucho (Luis Diaz), I think he had a knock on the knee but he should be fine, let’s see.
“Kostas looked more serious injury than everyone hoped.”

Even if Diaz is fit to start against Burnley tonight, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp doesn’t have to risk him.
The Reds are more than capable of beating the Clarets without the Colombian. Klopp could go with both Cody Gakpo and Darwin Nunez in attack – the last time they started together, they beat West Ham 5-1.
Liverpool also have a tough game coming up against Newcastle United on New Year’s Day, and Klopp would want most of his players fit for that fixture. So, giving Diaz a break today wouldn’t be the worst idea.
However, we’re sure that the 26-year-old would want to play against Burnley today if he’s declared fit.
