Diogo Jota has named Liverpool teammate Thiago Alcantara as the most technically gifted player he has ever played alongside.
The Spanish international is yet to feature for the Reds this season after enduring an injury nightmare that has kept Thiago out on the treatment table since last April.

And speaking to Sky Sports, Jota named the Liverpool superstar as the most technically gifted he has ever played with, a testament to how respected Thiago still is despite his lack of playing time.
Jota said when asked who the most technically gifted player he has played with is: “Thiago Alcantara, I don’t think I need to explain much. He’s so technically gifted. He’s a world-class player”
Diogo Jota will wish Thiago Alcantara was more fit for Liverpool

And for Jota, the attacker will now be wishing what could have been had Thiago been available more often for Liverpool and didn’t suffer from injury problems.
After all, the Portuguese international has been sensational for Liverpool since arriving from Wolves, and Thiago being fit could have led to Jota’s production levels hitting world-class levels.
Moreover, an injury-less Thiago could have led to more silverware for Liverpool, with the midfielder absent from numerous keys games for the Reds over the years.
