Liverpool youngster Jarell Quansah put in yet another fine performance today as the Reds took on Manchester United.
The 21-year-old was once again given his chance at the back alongside Virgil van Dijk and the young defender didn’t disappoint.
Quansah has been impressive ever since he broke into the team earlier this season. And after impressing Jamie Carragher with his role in one of Liverpool’s goals today, ITV commentator Lee Dixon was also full of praise the youngster.

“He’s so good on the ball isn’t he. Looks like he’s been there forever. Mind you playing alongside Van Dijk helps as well, I must say. He reads the game well as well. He’s got that knack of being able to sniff out danger,” Dixon said.
Quansah has recently been called into the England under-21s and on current form and with the lack of options at centre-back, the youngster might even be a late shout for the Euros.
Class beyond his years
Liverpool’s young players are really turning up lately and Jarell Quansah once again showed his class today.
Yes, United might have scored a few goals but there was little Quansah could really do about them.
For a young man, playing consistently and performing like he is right now is a real testament to the talent he has in his locker.
Liverpool’s latest class of youngsters looks the real deal and along with the likes of Conor Bradley and Bobby Clark, the Reds look well set for some time yet.
