Liverpool beat Nottingham Forest in very controversial fashion at the weekend.
The Reds scored a 99th minute winner against Forest on Saturday, but it would appear that this goal came off the back of a poor refereeing decision.
As you can imagine, Forest fans, players and even the owner was fuming after this goal, and one man who didn’t take this goal all that well was Jermaine Jenas.
The former Forest midfielder was apparently far from happy after this Liverpool goal as Jermaine Pennant read out a text from the midfielder on Hawksbee and Jacobs Daily after discussing this goal.

Pennant shared the text he received from the former Forest ace.
“Yeah so my fellow Nottinghamshire friend, ex-Spurs Jermaine Jenas messaged me saying that I’m not welcome in Nottingham anymore, it evens itself, out, and I can’t repeat the rest. JJ, come on, it evens itself out. Mr Jenas is not happy, he’s not happy,” Pennant said.
Right to be fuming
We have to say, Jenas has every right to be annoyed here.
Watching your team concede a last-minute goal has to be one of the worst feelings in the world, but when that goal comes off the back of a poor refereeing call, you’re bound to be seething.
This point could be the difference between Forest staying up or going down come the end of the season, but, from a Liverpool perspective, it could also be the difference between winning the league and finishing second.
The Reds secured a valuable three points on Sunday, but that was at the expense of Forest who are now very much looking over their shoulders as Luton attempt to close the gap and condemn the Tricky Trees to relegation.
This goal could have huge ramifications at both ends of the table.
