Curtis Jones seems to be improving week-on-week for Liverpool.
The midfielder was utterly brilliant once again against Fulham on Wednesday evening, and he’s becoming a real lynchpin in this team these days.
Jones has improved dramatically over the past 12 months, and speaking on The Game Football Podcast, Tony Cascarino has been full of praise for the player.
Indeed, Cascarino says that Jones is starting to look like a man on the football pitch now, claiming that he’s now a really complete midfielder who looks way more athletic these days than he used to.

Cascarino shared his verdict on the midfielder.
“The incredible improvement of Curtis Jones, he’s a man now. He’s 22, he’s lost that puppy fat that you sometimes get, he’s a well-oiled machine, his touch, I’ve seen loads of midfielders who play different positions, he is now a really complete midfielder,” Cascarino said.
“I think he will be in the Liverpool team a lot between now and the end of the season, he looks a way more athletic midfielder to me, his skill level is extraordinary.”
Developing
It’s not a surprise to see that Jones is looking more and more athletic these days. After all, he’s becoming a man.
Let’s not forget, when we first saw Jones in this Liverpool first-team, he was a teenager, he hadn’t even finished growing physically at that point.
Now though, at the age of 22, his physical development is coming to an end and he’s becoming a real force in that Liverpool midfield.
He’s full of energy, he’s as sharp as a tack and he’s surprisingly strong for a player of his size.
Jones is a player who is only going to continue to improve, and we’re very excited to see what the future holds for this young man.
Jones could be a star in that Liverpool midfield for the best part of the next decade.
