‘He’s gone under the radar’: Pundit says £34m Liverpool player has been sneakily brilliant this season

Liverpool are getting back to something close to their best.

The Reds have lost just once in the Premier League so far this season, and a title challenge doesn’t seem to be out of the question.

The Reds have been utterly brilliant this term, and, as ever, Mohamed Salah has been one of their star performers.

Speaking on Premier League Productions, Don Hutchison has been discussing Salah’s performances this season, and he says that the Egyptian has actually gone a bit under the radar in terms of what he’s still bringing to this Liverpool side.

Salah has gone under the radar

Hutchison gave his verdict on the £34m man’s performances this term.

“I think he’s gone under the radar. This season especially, you look at his goal involvements there, every single game he’s picking up goals or assists, both, he’s devastating, the numbers are just phenomenal. Credit to Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool and the player for what they’ve turned Mo Salah into,” Hutchison said.

Salah could be Player of the Year

Hutchison is spot on, Salah has gone somewhat under the radar so far this season.

Perhaps it’s due to the amount of speculation around him this summer, but for some reason, the Egyptian isn’t being recognised as the very best player in the league this season.

He’s one of the top scorers and one of the top assisters this term, and he has delivered in almost every single game for Liverpool so far this season.

The reality is that we’ve grown accustomed to seeing these types of performances from Salah, so they don’t shock us this much these days, but we simply can’t let his brilliance go unnoticed.

Salah could be on track to win his third PFA Player of the Year award if he keeps these types of levels up.
