Liverpool star Alexis Mac Allister has had his say on Moises Caicedo rejecting the Reds for Chelsea last summer.
The two old Brighton and Hove Albion midfielders will face each other in the final of the Carabao Cup tomorrow. Liverpool will go into the game as favourites, but Caicedo would love nothing more than to have the last laugh after snubbing Jurgen Klopp last summer.

Liverpool‘s biggest priority in last summer’s transfer window was to strengthen their midfield.
Jurgen Klopp sealed a deal to sign Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton very early, and that was a fantastic start to the window. They then brought in Dominik Szoboszlai, who has proved to be a solid addition as well.
Liverpool’s focus then turned to a defensive midfielder, and the Merseysiders tabled a club-record bid to sign Moises Caicedo from Brighton.
The Seagulls even accepted that offer, but the Ecuador international rejected the Reds and made it clear that he only wanted to join Chelsea.
Speaking about his old teammate’s decision, Mac Allister said, as per the Express: “It’s a personal decision, that’s what he chose and that’s completely fine.
“He’s an amazing player, a really good guy so I wish him all the best – but not on Sunday!”

Moises Caicedo angered a ton of Liverpool fans when he decided to reject the Reds and join Chelsea.
Many felt at the time that the Ecuador international was only joining the Blues for the money as Liverpool are considerably better on the pitch. He has been told by many that he made the wrong move.
Caicedo has had a difficult season, and Liverpool fans have reminded him of his decision to snub them at every opportunity they’ve had over the last few months.
The Carabao Cup final tomorrow could give Liverpool fans more reason to mock Caicedo’s decision. However, on the flip side, if the Ecuador international ends up helping his side beat the Reds, he will have the last laugh.
We’re sure he would love that.
