Liverpool could probably still do with another holding midfield player.
Wataru Endo has been brilliant for the Reds lately, but, at the same time, the Japan international is 30 years old and it’s unclear how long he can keep this form up for.
So, who else could Liverpool go for? Well, speaking on his YouTube channel, Jose Enrique has been discussing the idea of Aston Villa’s Boubacar Kamara coming to Anfield.
Enrique was looking to sign Kamara on his EA FC game, and he said that this signing could actually be a good addition to the squad in real life as well.

Enrique spoke about the 23-year-old potentially joining Liverpool.
“Kamara, he is a good player, I like him, as a holding midfielder I like him a lot,” Enrique said.
“Would you like Kamara at Liverpool in real life? Well, he’s a great player mate, Douglas Luiz is a player I like as well, it could be many of them.”
Kamara is brilliant
Boubacar Kamara has been utterly brilliant for Aston Villa this season, but he doesn’t really get the credit he deserves.
The spotlight has largely been on Douglas Luiz and John McGinn, but Kamara’s impact in that midfield shouldn’t be forgotten either.
The fact that he was signed on a free transfer last summer seems utterly ridiculous now, and as Enrique says, he would be a fantastic signing for Liverpool.
Of course, getting the 23-year-old out of Villa Park wouldn’t be easy, and we can’t see this transfer actually going ahead at any point in the near future.
Liverpool will need to address that number six position again in the near future, and if they could do a lot worse than signing a player like Kamara.
Aston Villa are lucky to have a player of this calibre, that’s for sure.
