Liverpool face Manchester City this weekend in what could genuinely be a title-decider.
On more than one occasion in recent years, Liverpool and City have been within a point of each other when all is said and done, and these games can be hugely decisive.
Liverpool head into this match at Anfield this weekend, not for the first time, with a few selection headaches.
The Reds have a number of players who are either out injured or just returning from injury, and picking between these players won’t be easy.
Writing in his column for SportsKeeda, Paul Merson has been discussing some of Liverpool’s selection issues, and he says that no matter what, Conor Bradley needs to start here.

Merson gave his verdict on the young right-back.
“Conor Bradley has been outstanding since coming into the team and should keep his spot at right-back. He’ll come up against Jeremy Doku, but the lad hasn’t put a foot wrong in his young Liverpool career so far, so I doubt Jurgen Klopp will bench him for Joe Gomez. The Englishman might be the safer option, but Bradley is much better going forward and Liverpool will need his energy down the right flank to make their presence felt in the game.”
“I think Bradley’s done outstandingly well, he needs to play. He’ll probably play against Doku but that’s okay. Salah vs Ake could be a key battle.”
Earned it
Throwing a 20-year-old into a game of this magnitude is a big call, but, in all honesty, Bradley has earned this.
Bradley has more than proven that he’s worthy of a shot in these big games, and after his recent form, he should start here.
Bradley has been amazing for Klopp recently, and the Liverpool manager needs to show the right-back, and the rest of his young players, that good performances will be properly rewarded within this Liverpool team.
