Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has now shed some light on Kostas Tsimikas’ fitness ahead of the game against Manchester United this weekend
The Reds battered Sparta Prague for the second time in two weeks. They beat them 6-1 last night and have qualified for the next round of the Europa League now. Tsimikas came on as a substitute for Liverpool yesterday and played the entire second half.

Liverpool have had so many injury issues this season, haven’t they?
Jurgen Klopp has had to do without several of his key players over the last few months, but it looks like he is getting many of them back now.
There was, however, a couple of concerns last night. Bobby Clark went down after he felt something in his ankle, and he was withdrawn.
Then, towards the end of the game, it looked like Kostas Tsimikas, who came on for Joe Gomez at half-time, was struggling with an injury too.
That was a concerning sight, but in his post-match interview on TNT Sports, Klopp eased everyone’s fears by revealing that Tsimikas is fine.
When asked for an update on the Greek defender, Klopp said: “No, I think he is fine.
“I’m not sure what happened to him, if he had a knock or whatever, but he should be fine.”
Liverpool take on Manchester United next
Games are coming thick and fast for Liverpool. After the late finish last night, they have to prepare for a huge clash against Manchester United in the FA Cup on Sunday.
Jurgen Klopp will likely field a full-strength line-up against the Red Devils, which suggests that Kostas Tsimikas will not start even if he’s fit.
However, with so many injuries going against Liverpool over the last few months, Klopp will want all of his players to be available for the game, and that includes the £11 million (MailSport) Greece international.
It will be interesting to see if Tsimikas gets on the pitch against United on Sunday. It could be one of his last games under Klopp.
