Trent Alexander-Arnold has claimed that a player Liverpool sold years ago would outscore Mohamed Salah if they played together now.
The Reds are one of the best sides in Europe at the moment. They are level on points with Arsenal at the top of the Premier League table and are the favourites to win the Europa League as well.
The international break is done and all the focus is on domestic football now. Liverpool take on Brighton and Hove Albion tomorrow, and all of Jurgen Klopp’s men were hard at work in training yesterday.
Alexander-Arnold and Salah took part in the sessions, and a familiar face was watching them in action.

Liverpool are one of the greatest clubs in English football.
They have won 19 league titles, six Champions Leagues and a bunch of other trophies which have cemented their status as one of the most successful clubs in the world.
Liverpool have had a number of elite players in their side over the years. From legends like Ian Rush and Kenny Dalglish of yesteryears to modern-day heroes like Mohamed Salah, Reds fans have witnessed many incredible footballers.
One player who was absolutely unbelievable during his time at Anfield was Fernando Torres.
The Spaniard returned to Merseyside recently and watched all the Liverpool players train yesterday alongside Jurgen Klopp. He seemed to have had a really good time.
In the dressing room before training, Torres met the likes of Salah and Trent Alexander-Arnold and had a quick chat with him.
When the Liverpool right-back asked the Spaniard if he would join the training session with the players, Torres quickly said no.
Salah, who was watching on, told Alexander-Arnold: “He (Torres) is fitter than you!”
The defender quickly replied: “He (Torres) is better than you right now! If he plays with me, he scores 50 goals. You play with me and score 20!”

Fernando Torres was one of the best strikers in the world when he was at Liverpool.
The Spaniard had the ability to score against every team in the country, and he was a fan favourite at Anfield until his £50 million switch to Chelsea in January 2011 (BBC).
In 142 games for Liverpool in all competitions, Torres scored 81 goals and provided 20 assists. He averaged a direct goal contribution every 108 minutes, which is an incredible return.
Mohamed Salah, on the other hand, has played a lot more games for Liverpool.
In 337 appearances for the Reds, the Egyptian has 207 goals and 89 assists. That’s a direct goal contribution every 92 minutes, which is simply outrageous for a wide player.
