Dominik Szoboszlai is a player who is capable of the spectacular.
We’ve not seen him score too many goals for Liverpool so far, but he did score an absolute screamer against Leicester earlier this season, while his highlight reel from his time at RB Leipzig and some his goals for Hungary are utterly ridiculous.
Speaking to ITV Sport, Cody Gakpo and Curtis Jones have been reviewing some of Liverpool’s recent FA Cup goals, and Gakpo had an interesting reaction to Szoboszlai’s strike vs Leicester.
The Dutchman stated that this strike was simply all in a day’s work for Szoboszlai, claiming that he shoots like that in training more often than not.

Gakpo shared his verdict on his £60m teammate’s shooting ability.
“This is a normal goal (Szoboszlai against Leicester) for him, have you seen his shooting in training? This has to be normal, do you understand what I mean?” Gakpo said
“I understand what you mean, but to do it in a game, and he didn’t even start that game, he came on,” Jones said.
“I’m joking brother, this is a worldie,” Gakpo said.
Not surprising
It’s not at all surprising to hear that Szoboszlai scores some incredible goals in training.
The Hungarian isn’t afraid to shoot from any sort of distance when he plays in the Premier League, so we can only imagine how trigger-happy he is behind the scenes when the pressure is off.
The midfielder has incredible technique, and we’d hate to be a goalkeeper tasked with stopping any of his shots from distance.
Szoboszlai hasn’t quite found his goalscoring form in the Premier League yet, but make no mistake about it, things will click soon and he will be blow Anfield away with some of his incredible strikes in the coming months.
