Perry Groves has noted what people often do not see about Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah.
The former Arsenal player and talkSPORT pundit has hailed the consistency that Salah has shown over the years and how he has changed his game over the years.
So, what has now been said about Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah? Let’s take a look.
Praise for Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah
Well, Perry Groves has been raving about Liverpool and Egypt international forward Mohamed Salah. The former Arsenal player and talkSPORT pundit was impressed by the display produced by the 31-year-old this past weekend.
Liverpool got the better of Crystal Palace 2-1 away from home at Selhurst Park in London. Salah scored the first goal for the Reds in the 76th minute. It was his 200th goal for the Merseyside club.
TalkSPORT pundit Groves has noted how Salah had to change his game, especially after the departures of Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.
Photo by MB Media/Getty ImagesGroves said about Salah on the Premier League All Access podcast: “Mo Salah does get a lot of praise, but when you think that the way he’s had to change his game for different personnel that have come in, obviously with Firmino going and Mane going.
“And he’s been the constant, it was his 200th goal for Liverpool, 150th Premier League goal, so his consistency over that long period of time when he’s not a centre-forward, he’s playing on the right-hand side is incredible.
“And that’s when you look to your big players to try and rescue you and he’s done it on numerous occasions and he’s done it again.”
Mohamed Salah is a Liverpool and Premier League legend
In my view, Mohamed Salah is one of the best players of all time and is a Premier League legend. He is a genuine Liverpool great.
The 31-year-old is world class. The Egypt international forward has become a goal machine at Liverpool. There was a time at Chelsea when Salah was struggling, but now he would get into any team in the world.
Salah has scored 11 goals and given seven assists in 16 Premier League matches for Liverpool this season. The forward has scored three goals in five UEFA Europa League games for the Reds.
The Egyptian has made 247 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career. Salah has scored 150 goals and given 66 assists in those games.
