Bayer Leverkusen No.30 Jeremie Frimpong has now admitted he would love to join Liverpool.
The 23-year-old made the comments when speaking to Ziggo Sport.
So, what did Jeremie Frimpong say about Liverpool? Let’s take a look…
Jeremie Frimpong admits he would love to join Liverpool
Well, the Netherlands international is believed to be a target for the Reds – according to Depor.
When asked about these links, Frimpong refrained from delivering the usual, media trained answer, and actually gave a very encouraging response.
The Dutchman said: “Liverpool? Great club, with history. That would be great. Who knows what the future will bring.”

The Liverpool target has played a significant role in this special campaign, scoring nine goals while also providing ten assists in just 28 appearances across all competitions from his right wing-back role.
Liverpool could go up a gear
In our view, signing Frimpong would take Liverpool to another level.
The man from Amsterdam is by far the most efficient wing-back across Europe, and we believe his directness would cause chaos for opponents down the right, with Trent Alexander-Arnold moved centrally on a full-time basis.
In terms of getting a deal done, it certainly seems possible – albeit potentially expensive.
Frimpong is valued at €80m (£68m) by the CIES Football Observatory, although Alonso could prove decisive.

Therefore – given his effectiveness in coaching Frimpong – we would not be surprised if the Dutchman wanted to follow Alonso to Merseyside, especially as he already thinks very highly of the Reds.
Be sure to keep an eye on this situation, as anything could happen.
