Liverpool will be hoping they’re not the latest victim of the new manager bounce when they take on Southampton today.
Nathan Jones has joined the south coast club from Luton Town with the Saints in the relegation zone.
A trip to Anfield is one of the most daunting games in the Premier League.
However, Liverpool haven’t struggled to reach top gear this season, and currently sit outside the European places.

Southampton’s players will have plenty to prove, especially with a new manager to impress.
Jones admitted that he was coming up against one of the world’s best in Klopp today.
This is despite the fact the German will be serving a touchline ban after being sent off against Manchester City.
Klopp one of the world’s best managers – Jones
Previewing his first game in charge, Jones was very complimentary about his opposite number.
“The respect levels have to be through the roof because of what he’s achieved, how he goes about his work,” Jones said.
“I don’t know him, we were both at the same awards ceremony – we both won awards in the summer, that’s as far as our relationship goes.
“I’m excited to go up against him but I know it’s going to be very difficult, for what he’s achieved at Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund.
“One of the world’s best coaches, that’s the lure of the Premier League.”
Klopp is certainly considered one of the world’s best managers by his own fans.

He could be about to take over the club during a period of transition after reports Liverpool are now up for sale.
A report from The Athletic shared when Klopp heard the news about FSG’s plans.
Klopp also previewed today’s game, and has highlighted one player he wants to improve defensively.
Liverpool and Southampton both desperately need three points today, and Jones will want to hit the ground running.
