Liverpool won’t be happy after their loss at Old Trafford at the weekend, but there are some positives to take away from that game.
Indeed, while the Reds suffered a really disappointing defeat against their bitter rivals, it has to be said that the future looks bright for both sides.
The youngsters on show on Sunday were all brilliant, the likes of Kobbie Mainoo and Amad Diallo shone for United, while Harvey Elliott and Jarell Quansah were fantastic for Liverpool.
Speaking on Premier League Productions, Leroy Rosenior has been discussing the youngsters on show on Sunday, and he says that both Mainoo and Quansah look like they’re going to be superstars.

Rosenior spoke about the two youngsters.
“I honestly think you should be talking about your young players, I think that Quansah is going to be a superstar and I think that Kobbie Mainoo is going to be a superstar as well,” Rosenior said.
Exciting
It has to be said that this is very exciting.
Regardless of if you support United or Liverpool, the fact that we have so many exciting young players coming through in England right now is exciting.
Ultimately, club rivalries go to one side when it comes to international football, and while the likes of Mainoo, Elliott and Quansah look destined to be rivals at club level for years to come, they will also likely be teammates on the senior international stage before too long.
Liverpool and Manchester United both have a number of exciting young players coming through right now, and, by proxy, that means that England have a number of very talented future stars on their hands.
Mainoo is already a part of the England squad, and we have to imagine that both Quansah and Elliott won’t be too far behind the United midfielder.
