The World Cup might not be the best place to scout players, but Liverpool will certainly be following England’s progress very closely.
With Trent Alexander-Arnold and Jordan Henderson in the squad, Jurgen Klopp will be hoping both players have a successful, injury-free tournament.
Liverpool have been closely linked with Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham.
The 19-year-old is set to heavily feature for England at the World Cup, and is almost certainly ahead of Henderson in the pecking order.

90min report that Liverpool scouts have been watching Bellingham recently, and he’s reportedly keen on a move.
The Reds already have a number of young options preparing to step up to replace Klopp’s current options.
Harvey Elliott is already getting plenty of minutes, while Curtis Jones and Fabio Carvalho are waiting in the wings.
However, Bellingham would represent a world-class replacement for the likes of Henderson and Thiago Alcantara.
Bellingham will be sold this summer – Carragher
Writing in his column for the Telegraph, Carragher said: “The expectation is Bellingham will soon be sold by Borussia Dortmund and every major club in Europe is apparently considering an offer at the end of the season.
“A £100m fee will not dissuade clubs bidding for Bellingham.
“Clubs are always more likely to invest such money on midfielders who regularly score goals and make assists. Bellingham is seen as a game-changer and matchwinner.”
Carragher has previously said that Bellingham reminds him of Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard.
The youngster offers goals and assists from midfield while also being a fantastic ball carrier.

Bellingham would offer Liverpool a player they could build an entire team around for years to come.
With Carragher’s belief that Bellingham will be sold in the summer, Liverpool have to put everything in place to make sure he arrives at Anfield next year.
Their only worry is having to fight off the likes of Manchester City and Real Madrid for his signature.
Liverpool can’t compete financially with the two juggernauts, but that hasn’t stopped them attracting the world’s best players in the past.
