TalkSPORT pundit Gabriel Agbonlahor has delivered his verdict on Mohamed Salah’s performances for Liverpool so far this season.
Jurgen Klopp‘s side have had a great start to the campaign. Apart from that controversial defeat to Tottenham, they are unbeaten in the Premier League, and many even view them as title contenders. Salah’s numbers, once again, have been fantastic.

Liverpool signed Mohamed Salah from AS Roma for £34.3 million (Sky Sports) back in the summer of 2017, and that has proved to be one of their best decisions ever.
There were a lot of eyebrows raised when the Egyptian completed his move to Anfield. His unsuccessful spell at Chelsea was seen as a real cause for concern, but he has silenced all his doubters and some.
Salah has been prolific this season as well. He has scored 10 goals and provided four assists in all competitions already, which is an excellent return.
Gabriel Agbonlahor had his say on Salah while revealing his prediction for Liverpool’s game against Luton Town this weekend.
The pundit doesn’t think the Egyptian has been at his best, but he has admitted that his goalscoring form is just ‘frightening’.
Agbonlahor said about the game on talkSPORT: “I think another tough game for Luton. They are showing they’ve got fight. They might not have the best team or best quality but what they’ve got is fight.
“But, Liverpool, the quality players they’ve got, they will punish you. Salah is in frightening form. He’s not even playing his best football, but he’s scoring goals. He’s a goalscorer.
“I’ve got to for a 3-0 win for Liverpool.”
Mo Salah is Liverpool’s best player
A number of Liverpool’s players have stepped up this season.
Alisson looks incredible as ever, while Virgil van Dijk seems to be back to his best. The new signings have been performing brilliantly, and even Darwin Nunez is looking absolutely breathtaking.
However, the main man for Liverpool is still Mo Salah. The Egyptian is just unbelievable. He is still so dangerous, and even when he’s not playing at his best level, he finds a way to have an impact.
Against Luton this weekend, we back Salah to score again.
