Kyle Walker was asked to name his toughest ever opponent and named Sadio Mane over Kylian Mbappe.
At a press conference ahead of England’s huge game with France on Saturday, Walker faced plenty of questions about the Paris Saint-Germain star.
But when asked directly who the hardest player he has ever faced is, he said Mane came out on top over Mbappe and his PSG teammate Neymar.
Mane was of course sold by Liverpool to Bayern Munich in the summer and that has had a big impact on their season so far.

When asked who his toughest ever opponent was, Walker said: “For me, technically, I didn’t play against Mbappe one v one, it was more Neymar.
I think Neymar’s a fantastic player. I would probably say Sadio Mane just because he never gives you a moment’s rest on the ball.
“I’m not saying the other guys I mentioned don’t but they probably don’t defend as much or save their energy for when they’re attacking.
“For me, it’s probably Mane.”
There has been so much talk about Walker against Mbappe this week but the defender was keen to point out it is 11 versus 11 at the weekend.
France have a host of top players who can hurt England and the Three Lions also have their own weapons as well as the feeling there are more gears to get through.
If England do win a game they go into as slight underdogs, the nation will really start believing ahead of a semi-final with either Portugal or Morocco.
