Although Darwin Nunez had a frustrating performance all round for Liverpool today, Stephen Warnock was particularly disappointed with one aspect of his game.
Warnock was covering the Liverpool game for the BBC and shared that he simply couldn’t put up with Nunez’s diving.

Warnock made the comments shortly into the second half and wanted this kind of simulation eliminated from the game.
He said: “There has been a few times now that Nunez has thrown himself to the ground looking for a foul.
“Book him. We need to eliminate that from the game.”
Of course, Darwin Nunez’s all round play may have frustrated Liverpool fans even more.
Despite all of his spirit, determination and endeavour, the forward had an off day, one that nearly proved costly for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
And it does now feel that Nunez will need to improve his consistency in order for Liverpool to sustain a title challenge.
Stephen Warnock was really frustrated with Darwin Nunez’s simulation for Liverpool today
Of course, some Liverpool fans may now be questioning what is Klopp’s strongest front three at Liverpool.
Nunez has made a concerted claim early this season, but today’s performance could weaken his position.

Cody Gakpo is now making a strong case for more starts, a player Klopp clearly believes in.
Moreover, Diogo Jota also has a strong claim to a central role despite missing with an injury issue today.
Although Liverpool did eventually produce a brilliant comeback today, question marks will still be raised on reflection.
And it’ll certainly be interesting to see if Klopp does now consider changes to his strongest XI – something that still does seem undecided.
That being said, there’s certainly no doubt over a spot for Trent Alexander-Arnold, be it in midfield or inverting from the right.
A player Stephen Warnock thought showed outstanding technical ability.
