Journalist Florian Plettenberg has shared on social media that Jamal Musiala joining Liverpool is looking highly unlikely, with the youngster not considering leaving Bayern Munich.
Plettenberg has posted on X as he noted that the 20-year-old is more likely to end up at Manchester City if he does end up leaving the Bavarian giants.
Unsurprisingly, there is plenty of interest in Jamal Musiala. Liverpool are monitoring his situation. Meanwhile, reports from 90min claimed that Arsenal are amongst the clubs to have asked about Musiala.

Liverpool unlikely to sign Jamal Musiala
However, Plettenberg has now suggested that the Germany international is very keen to remain with Thomas Tuchel’s side.

Reds’ improvement may leave youngster with food for thought in future
It is a disappointing update for Liverpool. Musiala would be an amazing signing. Certainly, his arrival would make the future departure of Mohamed Salah much easier to deal with.
The youngster is one of the most exciting talents in the world right now. Harry Kane has suggested that he is a ‘fantastic‘ prospect.
Having said that, Liverpool are on their way back. They are not playing the best football right now. And yet, they went top of the league with their win in the Merseyside derby at the weekend.
They have rebuilt their forward line with the likes of Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz and Cody Gakpo. And their midfield has enormous potential with Dominik Szoboszlai, Alexis Mac Allister and Musiala’s former teammate Ryan Gravenberch.
Liverpool are arguably only a couple of signings away from a complete squad. And if they continue to improve, they may stand a better chance of tempting Musiala to consider a move to Merseyside.
