Graeme Souness has hailed Liverpool star Darwin Nunez and his improvement this season.
The Uruguay international has gone up a level since the start of this campaign. He is proving to be a real handful to deal with, and Souness seems to be really happy with his development at Liverpool.

Darwin Nunez‘s improvement at Liverpool this season deserves a lot of praise.
The 24-year-old was arguably the most criticised player at the club last season, even though he managed to score 15 goals in all competitions in his debut campaign.
Nunez already has seven goals this term in just seven starts. He has five assists to go with it as well, and it’s almost a guarantee that he will break his record from last season.
Graeme Souness had his say on Nunez. He was full of praise for the Uruguayan and claimed that opposition defenders would just hate playing against a striker like him.
He wrote in the Daily Mail: “Darwin Nunez’s winner against Bournemouth was a reminder of his talent.
“Right now, he needs three chances to score a goal but is still a fabulous player who works his socks off and defenders will not enjoy playing against him.
“The challenge for him is to get a goal in every two chances.”

Nunez is already on course to break his 15-goal record from last season. We think he can get more than 20.
The 24-year-old now averages one goal every start. That is an excellent return, and we have a feeling he will get even better once he begins to start regularly.
Liverpool look like they are back to enjoying football after an underwhelming campaign last season. All the players around Nunez are firing as well, and the confidence at the club right now is really high.
If the Reds can continue this in the coming months, we think Nunez will get past the 20-goal mark quite comfortably.
