EXCLUSIVE from Graeme Bailey

Crystal Palace do not want to lose Michael Olise this summer and the club have made that clear to the winger, TBR Football understands.

Palace are aware that numerous clubs are pursuing Olise and are looking at potential deal for him this summer.

Olise shunned interest from Chelsea last summer, and signed a new deal with Palace – although that did include a release clause – which TBR is told is in excess of £60million.

Chelsea remain interested, whilst Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United and champions Manchester City are all keeping watching his progress – whilst Inter Milan, Juventus and Paris-Saint Germain have watched him this season.

But Palace are not wanting to lose Olise and TBR understands they have made it clear to Olise and his suitors that if someone does want him – they will require his release to be paid in full, they are not looking to a deal on the 22-year-old.

Palace are hoping to keep hold of their star turns this summer and back Oliver Glasner going into next season – but they know that they will have a tough task in keeping their squad together as it is not just Olise who is attracting interest with Ebe Eze, Joachim Anderson and Marc Guehi all with their admirers.

Crystal Palace have real potential next season if Oliver Glasner can keep squad together

Certainly, there seems to be plenty for Palace fans to be optimistic about – should Glasner manage to hold onto all of his best players this summer.

After giving Manchester City a bit of a scare at Selhurst Park, Palace have gone to Liverpool and won, and then thrashed West Ham. Any relegation concerns before Glasner’s appointment have been well and truly put to end.

Olise scored one and set up another against the Hammers at the weekend. That takes his tally to seven goals in just 14 Premier League appearances this season.

Palace fans must be wondering what he could have done had he been fit for the entire campaign.

They will now be desperately hoping that the Eagles hierarchy have done enough to ensure that he goes nowhere over the next few months.
