Newcastle have laughed off speculation that Anthony Gordon could be on the move this summer, TBR Football understands.
Gordon has been outstanding for Newcastle this term in his first full season on Tyneside after joining in a £45m deal from Everton in January 2023.
Such has been Gordon’s form that he has played his way into Gareth Southgate’s plans and is now all but certain to be on the flight to Germany.

Reports have now suggested that Gordon could be offered a return to his hometown with Liverpool linked.
However, Newcastle sources have dismissed any suggestion that Gordon could be sold this summer and the mere idea was greeted with amusement when TBR asked the question.
Newcastle have spent recent weeks pushing back at claims that star pair Alexander Isak and Bruno Guimaraes could be sold this summer, now they have added Gordon to that list and the club insist they are not looking to let any of their top-rated assets depart the club this summer.

Many of Newcastle’s best players have been linked with moves away but it’s become apparent that the club are keen to build rather than sell.
Clearly, the owners have aspirations of returning to the Champions League and challenging for titles, so they can’t afford to lose their key assets.
Indeed, like all clubs in the Premier League, the Tynesiders will have to trade and move players on to keep in line with Financial Fair Player regulations.
But, for now, there is no desire to sanction the sale of the ‘outstanding’ Gordon.
