Well, Liverpool have got the better of Crystal Palace 2-1 away from home at Selhurst Park in London in the Premier League.
Liverpool conceded the first goal of the match in the 57th minute, but the Reds scored twice thereafter to pick up all three points.
Mohamed Salah scored for the Reds in the 76th minute. Harvey Eliott found the back of the net in the first minute of injury time. Palace ended the game with 10 men.
Elliott did not start the match. The 20-year-old, who can also operate as an attacking midfielder, came on as a substitute for Darwin Nunez in the 74th minute.
The English youngster found the back of the net from outside the Palace penalty box. Although I think that Remi Matthews could have done better, I have to say that it was a superb effort.
As you can see, Jamie Carragher was hugely impressed with Elliott.
The former Liverpool defender and Sky Sports pundit has noted that the 20-year-old is fast becoming a super-sub for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Harvey Elliott is a Liverpool gem
In my view, Harvey Elliott is a very talented and promising young player who could star for Liverpool for years to come.
Elliott is only 20 now. He is still young enough to come off the bench and make an impact for Liverpool. He is not at the stage yet where he has to start every game.
I believe that the winger could develop into one of the best players at Liverpool and establish himself as a regular in the starting lineup.
Elliott has scored one goal and given one assist in 13 Premier League appearances for Liverpool this season.
