Liverpool fans have plenty to be looking out for in this current international break, including current and potential future players.
The likes of Alexis Mac Allister and Darwin Nunez have already featured against each other. With England, Trent Alexander-Arnold played a midfield role against Malta very well.
However, beyond the current crop, there are players who Liverpool are being linked with in the transfer market also strutting their stuff.
One of those players is Italian forward Federico Chiesa. The exciting forward has been linked with the Reds for some time now, with reports as recently as this month still claiming he’s a player Jurgen Klopp likes.

Italian media praise Liverpool target Federico Chiesa
Looking at how sections of the Italian media saw Chiesa’s performance, it seems like the Juventus man impressed once again.
“Chiesa 8 – sprint start and with a scare due to a blow to the knee. But he is the most alive, the most electric, and he takes the chair. He gets back on the scoresheet with a furious shot and doubles the lead with a perfect parabola, aided by a deflection. We haven’t seen a Church so in blue since the Europeans. Allegri rubs his hands, Inzaghi studies counter-attacks to stop him (from the 61st minute Zaniolo 5.5: he points everyone, he rips on the wing but he doesn’t make an impact and angers Spalletti for his attitude),” Calciomercato wrote.
Football Italia, who without giving Chiesa a rating, claimed the forward ‘inspired’ the Azzurri to the win.
Gazzetta dello Sport also gave Chiesa an 8/10, which again seems in keeping with the theme here.
Liverpool could find themselves looking for another wide forward and it seems Chiesa is someone who keeps cropping up.
Quite whether Juventus will opt to sell eventually, is another question. But Chiesa, for what it’s worth, continues to look the real deal.
