Liverpool star Dominik Szoboszlai has now made a comment about Arsenal after Sunday’s 0-0 draw between the Gunners and Manchester City.
The Hungary international made the comments when speaking to Hungarian news outlet Blikk.
Sunday’s stalemate between Arsenal and Manchester City means the Premier League title is in Liverpool’s hands with nine games remaining – the Reds currently sit two points clear.
After that clash at the Etihad Stadium, Liverpool No.8 Dominik Szoboszlai has now shared why he feels somewhat relieved by the result…
Dominik Szoboszlai makes goal difference comment about Arsenal
Well, the Hungarian is relieved that Liverpool no longer need to worry about Arsenal’s goal difference – as things stand.
Szoboszlai said: “Every game in the remaining nine rounds must be run as if it were the last – and after Arsenal’s point loss on Sunday, we no longer need to aim for sixteen goals in one of the nine games.”

Liverpool have a goal difference of 40 while Manchester City sit on 35.
Liverpool should not be focusing on this
Szoboszlai’s comments on goal difference are a bit alarming to us.
The 23-year-old should not count his chickens just yet, as Liverpool may actually need to get their goal difference up.
All it takes is for Liverpool to lose a couple of games and Arsenal to draw a couple, and both sides would be level on 67 points – where goal difference would then come into the equation.

By aiming for that, Jurgen Klopp’s side would be doing exactly what all good sides should do in a title race – focusing on themselves, rather than look around at what rival clubs are doing.
