The German announced last month that he will be stepping down from his role at Liverpool. He will walk away in a few months, and all the talk is about who will replace him. Wenger thinks Klopp should have no say about his successor.

Liverpool’s owners have a massive job on their hands as they look to replace Jurgen Klopp.
The German is one of the best managers in the world. He is the reason why Liverpool are so good now, and finding the heir to his throne will not be easy.
We don’t know what’s going on behind the scenes, but asking for some input from Klopp himself on who should be his successor doesn’t seem like a bad idea.
However, Arsene Wenger has urged the German to have no say in that and leave the job to people who have been tasked with that responsibility.
When asked if Klopp should have a say in who will replace him, the legendary Frenchman said on BeIN Sports: “No. I don’t think so, unless he becomes officially appointed by Liverpool as an advisor.
“You do your job and you let the other people do their job. I think organisations work well when that is the case – everybody does what they’re responsible for. At least you know when it doesn’t work who to speak to.”
Wenger further revealed that he had no say in who replaced him at Arsenal after he announced his departure back in 2018.
Wenger is right
Whoever replaces Jurgen Klopp will have a ton of pressure to deal with. Filling the German’s shoes will not be easy for any manager, especially in their first season at the club.
That makes things hard enough for the new boss, and the last thing he would need is added pressure that he is the one that Klopp picked.
The Liverpool boss should just leave everything to FSG and those involved in finding his successor. It’s the best way to move forward.
The Reds’ search must have already begun by now, and it will be interesting to see who they will go after in the coming months.
