Liverpool have had some truly incredible strikers in their time.
We don’t need to run you through the names. The likes of Ian Rush, Michael Owen, Robbie Fowler and Kenny Dalglish are all bona fide Anfield legends.
Another striker who made himself a legend at Liverpool is Divock Origi, and speaking to Goal, he’s shared his verdict on two of the best strikers the Reds have ever had.
Indeed, speaking to Goal, Origi was asked to choose between some of the best strikers in Premier League history, and he says that Luis Suarez was actually a better player than Fernando Torres.

The striker gave his verdict on Liverpool’s one-time £23m signing and a few other Premier League legends.
“Torres or Suarez?” Origi was asked.
“Suarez,” Origi said.
“Rooney or Henry?” Origi was then asked
“I love Rooney man, but Henry,” Origi replied.
“Drogba or Shearer?” The host finally asked
“Didier Drogba,” Origi concluded.

It’s really tough to choose between Suarez and Torres, but, in our view, Origi has made the right call here.
Torres was, of course, electric during his time at Liverpool, but Suarez hit unbelievable heights at Anfield, while he had the longevity at Barcelona as well.
Torres, as brilliant as he was, burned brightly before falling off massively upon joining Chelsea, while Suarez went from strength to strength from Ajax to Liverpool to Barcelona, while he even won La Liga with Atletico Madrid after leaving Camp Nou.
In terms of Liverpool, both players left a fantastic legacy as they produced so many incredible moments and scored so many fantastic goals, but in terms of overall footballing legacy when all is said and done, Suarez just about has the edge over Torres.
Liverpool fans have been very lucky to have the privilege of watching both Suarez and Torres over the years, that’s for sure.
