Divock Origi has suggested that Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk has the perfect strength among all the players in the world.
The Belgian is somewhat of a hero to Reds fans. His contribution in the Champions League final stands out, and he is still adored by many at Liverpool. Now, he has shown some love to one of his old mates at Anfield.

Liverpool old-boy Divock Origi took part in Goal‘s challenge to build the perfect footballer.
The series sees players picking who they think is the best in the world for individual categories, like left foot, right foot, pace, strength, skills and football IQ.
Origi only found space for one Liverpool player in his list, but the six people he picked are among the best footballers the world has seen in recent years.
For left and right foot, the Belgian went with Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, while Kylian Mbappe, Neymar and Kevin De Bruyne got the nods for speed, skills and football IQ respectively.
When the interviewer said strength, Origi quickly replied, “Van Dijk”, suggesting that the £220,000-a-week (Spotrac) Dutchman has the perfect strength and is the strongest footballer in the world.

If you’re looking to build the perfect centre-back, Virgil van Dijk is arguably the closest thing to perfection in this era of footballers.
The Liverpool captain has everything. He is tall, strong, incredibly intelligent and is also pretty quick for a centre-back. He’s excellent in the air as well – not just in his own box but at the other end of the pitch too.
To round it off, Van Dijk’s passing range is also very good, and he is a fantastic leader on and off the pitch as well, which makes him a complete player. He really has no weaknesses in his game.
Liverpool are lucky to have Van Dijk at the back, and if he carries on his form until the end of the season, we won’t be surprised to see him lift the Premier League title.
