Liverpool have some incredibly quick players at the club at the moment.
The likes of Luis Diaz, Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk are all absolutely rapid, but according to Diogo Jota there is another player at the club who is even faster.
Speaking to Bleacher Report on TikTok, Jota stated that Darwin Nunez is indeed the fastest player at Liverpool right now, claiming that the South American is truly rapid, and quicker than all of his teammates.

As many will know after watching Nunez over the past 18 months, the Uruguayan has pace to burn.
Jota was asked who the fastest player at the club is, and rather than picking Salah or Luis Diaz, he went for the former Benfica striker.
“Fastest Liverpool player?” Jota was asked.
“Um, Darwin,” Jota replied.
Darwin Nunez is quicker than Mohamed Salah
Jota may only be speaking from what he’s seen, but the numbers do back his claim up.
According to The Speeds Database, Nunez is Liverpool’s fastest player by some distance, followed by Mohamed Salah and then interestingly, Joe Gomez and Ibrahima Konate.
Nunez’s physicality is just ridiculous at times.
He has an incredible combination of explosiveness, acceleration and stride length. Standing at 6ft 2, he can cover ground remarkably quickly in just a few steps, and once he hits top speed, there’s no stopping him.
To be considered one of the fastest players at Liverpool is no easy feat, especially with players like Salah and Diaz in the squad, but Nunez is just that fast.
Nunez is ridiculously quick, and that makes him one of the most frightening players in the Premier League, even if his finishing can be a bit wayward at times.
We’d certainly pay to see a race between some of the fastest players in this Liverpool squad, that’s for sure.
