Gary Neville says Mo Salah is on a different level to his Liverpool teammates right now and is their best player.
Salah scored a double on Sunday afternoon as the Reds beat Tottenham 2-1 and has recovered from a slow start to the season.
Liverpool are trying to get some consistency after a bumpy start to the season but too many of their players have not hit the level often enough.
Neville told The Overlap how good he thinks Salah has been lately, since he turned it around with that quick-fire hat-trick against Rangers.

“It was a positive that Salah is back to his best. I think the game I saw first where I thought ‘he’s back’ was the Man City game,” he said.
“He was a different level [to everyone else]. I thought yesterday, the stark thing about Liverpool was that in the past three, four, five years, Salah’s been class but he’s not stood out above all the rest of them.
“He’s been one of many great performers. At the moment when he plays, he looks on a different level to the rest of his teammates.
“Now his teammates are good, don’t get me wrong, but it is a little bit of a worry for Liverpool because he does look like an unbelievable player out there at the moment. By far the best player on the pitch.”
Alisson is the only Liverpool player who is operating on the same level as Salah right now, and in his defence, he has been doing that all season.
Those two can drag Liverpool out of the mire to a certain extent, and ensure they go into the World Cup on the back of two more wins.
They play Derby and Southampton before the unprecedented mid-season break, and while Alisson and Salah may get a rest tonight, they will expect to face the currently managerless Saints.
